Although the country was one of the most beaten by the coronavirus COVID-19, Italy was able to recover from work and quarantine, achieving that in the last six days all the numbers that have to do with deaths, infected and hospitalized were falling, and the only one that was on the rise has to do with the recovered. This Saturday Afternoon European, Civil Protection disclosed the official statement confirming that 415 people died in the last 24 hours, the lowest number since the 345 recorded on 17 March. In this way, the fatalities so far are 26,834.

The trend of the last week remains ongoing and it is clear the decrease in the curve, after it is revealed that the positive cases, being 680 less than on Friday 24 April, reach a total of 105,847. As for other official numbers, the new decline in the number of people admitted and in intensive care was recorded, with no official numbers presented, but it was reported that the people healed on the last day were 2,622, beating the new contagions (2,357). From this situation, Premier Giuseppe Conte is already in a position to announce the beginning of a new stage, and will be presented publicly with the details of the beginning of the so-called “phase 2”. As they noted, it will include a gradual easing of quarantine from 4 May.
