CDMX.- The Alcaldía Tlalpan of Mexico City reported the closure of pantheons from May 6 to 31 this year, as one of the preventive measures before the Panvid-19 pandemic.This, to avoid the agglomeration of citizenship in pantheons by celebrations such as Mother’s Day, where they usually gather and bring flowers to the place, in order to decrease contagions of the new crownvirus.
Through social networks the mayoraldy Tlalpan announced this decision with the aim of preventing contagion in the population.
Notice to the community. From today to May 31, the pantheons will remain closed. It’s time to join forces and protect ourselves in community.

Days past, the mayor of Coyoacán, Manuel Negrete Arias announced that from May 5th and until May 31, the cemeteries of Los Reyes, La Candelaria, San Francisco, San Pablo Tepetlapa and Santa Ursula Coapa will remain closed this as a preventive measure to reduce contagion of the new coronavirus by the agglomeration of people in these places. The mayor’s town hall Iztapalapa reported that on 9 and 10 May it will close access in its 10 pantheons to avoid concentrations for Mother’s Day.
