If there’s anything about this pandemic that marvels… is the “B” side of the coronavirus. Wildlife that, with humans locked in their homes, take over the streets in empty cities. While it’s almost nothing new to find, on social media, photos or videos of animals doing unusual things, we’re still surprised. Residents in a building in the town of Calliano in northern Italy witnessed an unusual night: a grizzly bear climbing a balcony and trying to enter an apartment on the second floor.
Minja Koncul, who recorded everything, explained that residents in the area were very frightened to see animals and that fortunately no one was injured. The truth is that in the face of the desperate cries of the citizens and the movement of people on other balconies the bear changed his mind, decided to get off and undertake the flight. He escaped with great dexterity and did not have a scratch on the descent. It should be noted that this type of animals, in the past, were typical of northern Italy. In recent years an attempt has been made to recover the species with the introduction of females, as it was suspected that only a few males remained.
