Dele Alli experienced a fear experience at his London home, when he was assaulted by two men in masks and knives who wanted to take money from the house, but ended up stealing jewelry and watches valued at thousands of pounds. In addition, the Tottenham player suffered blows and “slight injuries”. The situation occurred on Sunday morning, at the 24-year-old Englishman’s quarantine with his girlfriend, Ruby Mae, and brother Harry Hickford. The latter was also attacked by thieves who reduced them to take the valuables.
The Daily Mirror newspaper notes that the assailants “threatened them and wanted to know where they could find things of value.” He also points out that the injuries have to do with blows and not sharp wounds from the knives they carried. After the situation became public, police officers confirmed that they did not arrest anyone with the features and Alli shared the security videos of his home, which has a digitized surveillance system for protection, to the detectives.
