The national government presented this afternoon the federal project Argentina Construye for works, housing and emergency infrastructure, carried out by the Ministry of Territorial Development and Habitat, led by María Eugenia Bielsa. With this program, the administration of Alberto Fernández, who was present together with Santiago Cafiero and the minister in the presentation, seeks to “respond to the emergency and address the housing deficit throughout the country”. 

According to the launch of tonight, the program will generate 750,000 genuine direct and indirect jobs over the next two years. The state’s investment will be 28.992 million pesos and will put into operation the ministry that drives Bielsa, virtually stopped since the Peronist government began on December 10. They expect to generate 5,500 new homes.
In addition, the program includes the granting of 200 thousand microcredits for the purchase of materials and the refaction of 42,900 units, especially for THE NOA. Government investment will be transferred to municipalities and community organizations through program-based credits and subsidies. Beneficiaries will be popular sectors and middle sectors.
