Salvárcar massacre
On January 30, 2010, while holding a student birthday party at the Villas de Salvárcar split, when at least 20 armed men stormed the scene and shot the present, leaving 15 dead and 10 injured.
Apparently the young men were attacked by mistake when they were mistaken for being mistaken for being mistaken for members of a gang linked to the Sinaloa cartel.  The murder was committed by members of the criminal group known as “Los Aztecas”, linked to the Juarez cartel.
