translated from Spanish: Talks in the middle of the pandemic: the approaches of INAF, College of Technicians and Coaches 2.0

Until yesterday there were 35 talks during the last month gathering those organized by INAF, the College of Technicians and the Group Coaches 2.0. Without a date for the return of football, coaches and teachers have grouped together to take advantage of confinement – and quarantine in 38 RM communes since Friday – to generate knowledge opening. All three groups claim to have a similar goal: to expand learning. The focus on the proposal, the themes of each talk and the short- and medium-term objectives vary.
From INAF, for example, they emphasize that within their work of linking with the medium this type of activities have been done for at least one or two years, but that given the current juncture the program “Football for all” was created, proposed and moderated by the coach and teacher Eduardo Barahona, and that he has already had talks with Luis Landeros , Fabián Marzuca and Mario Salas, which will be on the new YouTube channel that premiered the entity.
“It has academic purposes. The idea is to generate an instance to discuss, reflect and touch on topics that are important and of technical interest such as the game idea, the game model, the microcycle of competence, how they plan it, how they structure and rank their game ideas”, explains Barahona to hoyxhoy.
In this way, the idea of INAF is to bring the themes of the classroom and take advantage of the knowledge of the exponents to contextualize them from their own methodologies, considering that the audience not only has to be composed of graduates and students of the Institute.
“For example, on Friday Mario Salas gave an exhibition about what his ideas of coaching and his training methodology are (…) In this “Football for All” we interview the coach and have him tell us, ‘regarding these issues, and that we dominate as a technical staff, we approach it in reality in this way'”, explains Barahona, who is a teacher almost 6 years ago and his area of expertise is tactical journalization.
Chileans and foreigns

Coaches Andrés Muñoz and Reinerio Márquez are the drivers of the “Online Congress of Coaches” of the College of Technicians, an idea that had the approval of President Carlos Ramos. From April 15, 20 talks have been available on your YouTube channel.
“They’ve introduced coaches, physical trainers, nutritionists, psychologists, we’ve made it very broad. We cover amateur football, the training to the professional,” says Marquez.
These weeks have exhibited coaches such as José Sulantay, Eddio Inostroza – former aidist Arturo Salah and Mirko Jozic in Colo Colo-, former Ecuadorian technician Dusan Draskovic and Venezuelan coach Richard Paez, among others.
“The method is that we give many options so that you can talk to the protagonists. We have been told that it is quite enriching and now we have more than 500 teachers on two Whatsapps. Foreign teachers have very good disposition, they haven’t given us any but,” he adds to the abundant interest of foreign technicians in participating as listeners.
Coaches 2.0

Parallel to what the College of Technicians managed, the idea arose from a group of coaches who are not affiliated with that union. The group, called Coaches 2.0, grew over the days and there are already almost 180 members.
“Our first goal is being given quite well which is learning, feedback, and companionship. Most of us who integrated this Whatsapp were partners or met thanks to football”, explains Mauricio Pozo, former footballer, current commentator and member of the new group.
Coaches 2.0 brings together Chilean technicians and has had exhibitors such as Carlos Navarro Montoya talking about the work in the lower divisions of Boca Juniors, the Venezuelan DT Rafael Dudamel or talks by the nationals Luis Marcoleta on leadership or directing abroad of Nicolás Córdova.
Pozo also reveals that the group has plans for the future to organize. “I don’t know if you can call it an association, but we do want to bet on our growth. Create a directive, have a legal name and that allows us to apply for projects. That’s where we’re looking.”
Marquez, for his part, calls for more unity among national technicians and proposes “to do something simultaneously and strengthen the Chilean guild”. Pozo replies that “both the INAF and the College of Technicians have made very good talks. Everything is appreciated, there is no envy and learning is reciprocal.”
