Morelia, Michoacán.- The municipal president, Raúl Morón Orozco, supervised seDATU works in the Santa María-Trincheras Morelos polygon, actions that will benefit families living in the different colonies south of the municipality, Said population will have a better mobility, as it seeks to order vehicular traffic and make the pedestrian’s journeys safer, without neglecting recreational and sports activities outdoors with adequate spaces.
In this regard, the efforts before the Government of Mexico were carried out with the Secretariat of Agricultural, Territorial and Urban Development (SEDATU) through the Urban Improvement Program (PMU) and accompanied by the Secretariat of Urban Planning and Public Works of Morelia.

In this sense, public works continue in the municipality with preventive health measures. Works consisting of releasing and building sidewalks, safe pedestrian crossings, increasing the tree canopy, vertical and horizontal baling, to improve the mobility system with bays of ascent and descent of public transport, lanes with preference for the cyclist, new luminaires and urban furniture, in addition to the design of landscape and plateaus for safe crossing.

The mayor, Raúl Morón, stressed that the roads and public spaces involved can be enjoyed by all the Moralians once these tasks are completed and that the post-contingency mobility returns to the new normal as far as possible before the contingency by the Covid-19 that is held in the country and the municipality.
Such actions consist of: The construction of King Nezahualcóyotl Square; Francisco Gonzáles Bocanegra roads; Manuel José Othón; Manuel Acuña; Ramón López Velarde; Miguel Lerdo de Tejada in two stages; av. Peach flower; the construction of the Cenobio Paniagua linear parks; Battle of Tixtla; as well as the construction of the public spaces Toma de Oaxaca and another of them inside the Mercado Hermanos Flores Magón.
