Since the first case was recorded in the vulnerable neighborhoods of buenos Aires City, (CABA) the authorities are concerned as the infected continue to increase. In just 24 hours, 239 new Covid-19 cases and two new deaths were recorded. Since the outbreak began in the country, there have already been 2,116 people infected and 19 who have died in those points. The Government of Buenos Aires confirmed this information on Saturday and added that of the total cases in these neighborhoods, some 521 people were already discharged from the doctor.
The positive cases of the virus detected in these neighborhoods account for just over 37% of the total CABA infected people, where 5,677 infected people were reported as of this Saturday.
The most vulnerable places are the 31st Neighborhood of Retiro and the Padre Ricciardelli Ward (1.11.14), of the Lower Flores. “When an outbreak is triggered in these places, it is of rapid dissemination. Attention will be focused, because it is a population that requires urgent work to help them detect cases early, isolate them,” said the head of the Infectology Service at the Center for Medical Education and Clinical Research (Cemic), Pablo Bonheví.The doctor anticipated that “one of the plans is to use part of the cruise port of the City of Buenos Aires to work better , because it is very close” to Barrio 31, located in the neighborhood of Retiro.
