After two days of calm and not announcing any new cases for the first time, China confirmed that in the last 24 hours it added three new cases of coronavirus: two imported and one local. The two imported cases were recorded in the east, Shanghai, and in the south, Guangdong. The place was confirmed in the north, more precisely in the city of Jilin, which borders Russia, from where in recent weeks several Chinese were repatriated and suspected to be related to the 30 cases that the city added this week.
Since March, two months after coronavirus was unleashed in Asia, China has seen a noticeable drop in the spillover curve thanks to the prevention measures it took, but imported cases remain a problem for all. Most are citizens returning from Russia and today the entire border area is the most complicated, so far they register: 335,882 infected and 3,388 dead. In addition, 36 new asymptomatic cases were counted, four of which were imported and kept at 371 under medical observation. In total, of the 82,974 total infected, 79 cases remain active, eight of them in serious condition, and 78,261 recovered, and the death toll remains at 4,634.
