translated from Spanish: If the governor has evidence to show them, AMLO responds to Alfaro

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador responded to accusations by the governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro, that the federal government is behind the violent acts at Thursday’s demonstration: “if you have evidence to make them known.”
At his morning conference on Friday, the representative said he had nothing to do with the riots in central Guadalajara during the protest against police abuse and to demand justice for the death of young Giovanni Lopez, allegedly at the hands of policemen in the municipality of Ixtlahuacán de los Quinces.

“We have no interest in fighting any governor. I’m not a hypocrite because I’m not a conservative, I don’t throw the stone and I’m hiding my hand, I have nothing to do with what happened, unfortunately, in Jalisco. If the governor has proof to release them. The accuser has to prove it to act responsibly.”
On Thursday, protesters released screams at Alfaro, guarding him, and pints were recorded, in addition to the burning of three patrols. Police officers responded with blows and threw tear gas to disperse the protest.
The balance was 26 detainees, six policemen injured and three patrols burned.
