Zinapécuaro, Michoacán.- A shooting confrontation was recorded on Monday among the elements of Public Security against gunmen in the vicinity of the town of La Yerbabuena, belonging to this municipality of Zinapécuaro. Following the situation, the guardians of the order secured vehicles and firearms, and transcended the news work.
With regard to the subject, it was known that the event was in a wooded area of the community in reference. Law representatives encountered motor vehicles in which heavily armed individuals were going, who when they saw the policemen began shooting at them repeatedly.
The uniforms repelled the attack and there was a chase for the gaps in the place; in the end the criminals abandoned three vehicles and two long weapons to escape towards the hill. The auto units and armaments were seized by the police.
As a result of the situation, law enforcement in this region unleashed an intense deployment by air and overland, without any arrests on the subject at the close of this note.
It is worth mentioning that this is the third time in less than a month that the police are facing gunshots against gatilleros in this part of the entity, where police and military intelligence have detected the presence of a criminal cell that plagues the population with vehicle thefts and other criminal activities, detailed government voices.
