Dr. Fellhauer is originally from Germany, where he completed a PhD in astrophysics in 2001 at the University of Heidelberg. He has served at the Inst. f. Astrophys., U. Kiel in Germany, School for Mathem., U. Edinburgh in Scotland, Lick Observatory, UC Santa Cruz in California; AIfA U. Bonn in Germany and IoA, U. Cambridge in England, and since 2008 he has been a professor at the University of Concepción.
