Michoacán.- In the midst of the disjunction of the tuition of new to the normal and in an effort by authorities to change the image of normalism in the entity, for the first time the Ministry of Education in the State will conduct a course of induction to students of the last semester of the normal schools of the entity, prior to the start of the school year 2020-2021.
According to the head of the office of the educational unit, Héctor Ayala Morales, it is about improving professional practice and offering the Michoacan society the best profiles in teachers and teachers.
“We must strengthen the importance of normal education in our state and recognize its relevance in the training of our teachers, for which it is advisable to welcome future graduates from normal schools to their next stage as teachers, through a course that helps them to become familiar with the New Mexican School, critical and innovative decision-making and their next role as the main agents of education in our state.”

He reported that the program would be integrated into 5 modules that will be analyzed to assist teachers in the work they would have with their students. An analysis of digital learning environments will be performed during the introductory module.
It will also address the role of the teacher in the New Mexican School and how to bring it to the classrooms, working with collectives and school communities to promote educational excellence, through the exchange of information and the proposal of implementation projects.
Based on the foundations of La Nueva Escuela Mexicana, teaching skills will be strengthened with content appropriate to the contextualized needs of communities.
Finally, work will be made in inclusive education to strengthen the sensitivity of new teachers to work with girls, children and young people with special educational needs.
“We want the Michoacans proud of their normalists, who know that they put their children in the hands of young teachers with a vocation of service and connoisseurs of the New Mexican School. That’s the face we want Mexico to know about our normalists,” Ayala Morales stressed.
