In Friday’s morning report, the authorities the Ministry of Health confirmed seven new coronavirus deaths in our country and the total amounts to 772 deaths since the pandemic began. 27,373 positive cases were confirmed. Since Thursday’s evening report, there have been seven new deaths: two women living in the province of Buenos Aires aged 72 and 80 and one of 71 years old in Chaco province. The male victims were an 81-year-old man from the province of Buenos Aires, one of 38 from Chaco province, one of 45 years living in Chubut province and one of 85 from the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA).
The total number of confirmed cases in Argentina is 27,373, of which 772 died. Regarding those confirmed, 999 (3.6%) imported, 11,091 (40.5%) are close contacts of confirmed cases, 10,542 (38.5%) are cases of community circulation and the rest is in epidemiological research. Of the total cases (27,373), 49.4% are women and 50.6% are men. The main age groups affected by the reported cases are people between the ages of 20 and 59, with the average age being 36 years. The total number of highs is 8,743 people. Yesterday, 6,498 new samples were carried out and since the outbreak, 221,305 diagnostic tests were carried out for this disease, equivalent to 4,877.1 samples per million inhabitants. The number of cases dropped until yesterday is 155,502 (per laboratory and by clinical/epidemiological criterion).
