Three officials of the Chaco Government tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) and turned on alarms in the administration of Jorge Capitanich.Se it is Marta Soneira, the secretary of Territorial Development and Environment, Gloria Salazar, the Minister of Security, and Silvana Pérez, the secretary of Human Rights and Genders, as reported from the Government of Chaqueño through a statement disseminated on social networks.
“With the corresponding authorization of the patients, we want to communicate that the Minister of Security and Justice, Gloria Zalazar and the Secretary of Territorial Development and Environment, Marta Soneira, showed symptoms compatible with Covid-19, performed the swab and tested positive,” begins by saying the message of the provincial authorities. He continues: “Human Rights Secretary and Generos, Silvana Pérez, despite showing no symptoms, also performed the swabing and tested positive.” However, they explained that the officials “since they are in good health, in their homes, performing the indicated isolation and teleworking”, while “the people who were in close contact with them are also in isolation until they obtain the results of their covid test”.
Soneira herself had confirmed the news through a message on her Facebook account. “I am quarantined, due to covid-19 protocol isolation, in perfect health. I tested positive for the swab of the request to be performed on the slightest symptom I had,” the secretary wrote. He added: “I would like to convey peace of mind to the work teams, as the maximum collections and implementation of protocols for todx security will be followed.” Chaco is one of the provinces most complicated by the pandemic, with 49 new positive cases recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the figure to a total of 1,299 infected.
