translated from Spanish: FMK: “In 2016 it wasn’t even figured out and today recording a song with Ecko is crazy”

The Argentine singer of urban music, FMK (Enzo Sauthier), who navigates the sounds of the trap, reggaeton, R&B and dembow spoke with Filo.News in an interview for the recent premiere of his song with Ecko and revealed that it is incredible for him to see how his musical career was born in such a short time achieving a great success that today allowed him to record collaborations with well-known artists. A few days ago, a group of fans from Peru sent him a message in which they expressed that it was his example that a person who succeeded in music and that it was his motivation: “That’s super crazy, you know where it comes from. Maybe at one point I had nothing, today I live on what I like and I rub shoulders with artists like Ecko that when I hadn’t started I listened to it in battles or in their themes. In 2016 and 2017 it was neither listed and today, a couple of years later, recording a song and having a million views is crazy,” said the Necochea-born singer.

The song called “Occasionally” was recorded in early quarantine and currently has more than a million views: “It came up in a week that I went into the studio to make songs. I liked everything, the instrumental, etc., but I needed someone to break it and with my producer came up with the idea of doing it with Ecko,” he revealed. The song was to be for my album, but with the pandemic it was delayed and they decided to release it last June 3. Faced with the doubt of making upcoming collaborations, Ecko responded quickly and stated: “We don’t talk to do other songs, but winning team is still on court. If it went well once, then we can put something together for my channel, as this was for yours. We gave a material to people that weren’t expected.”

Finally, he revealed that in his next productions he wants to vary: “This theme was key because I came with a lot of trap and wanted to show people that now they are going to have more reggaeton, dembow, more trap and why not rap as well. I have some old boombaps. From now on I’m going to get one topic for a month,” he concluded.
