Who’s Kristen Stewart?
So far Kristen Stewart has been the only confirmed actress for the film whose production will begin on 2021. The 30-year-old actress is originally from Los Angeles, California, Usa, and although she began her artistic career since 1999, she rose to international fame in 2008 for her role in the successful “Twilight” saga, where she brought to life one of the protagonists, Bella Swan.

Kristen played Bella during the five films that made up the saga based on Stephenie Meyer’s novels, starring in the story alongside Robert Pattinson, who interpetrated Edward Cullen.However, the actress has continued to forge a prolific career after the end of the successful saga, appearing with starring roles in films such as “The Runaways” (2010), “Snow White and the Hunter” (2012), “On the Road” (2012), “Always Alice” (2014) and “American Ultra” (2015), to name a few.

In 2015 she became the first American actress to win a César Award, sweeping the best supporting actress category for her role in “Clouds of Sils Maria” (2014). In 2010, she was included in Vanity Fair’s list of highest-earning Hollywood actors (“Hollywood Top Earnest List of 2010” with an estimated fortune of $28.5 million, being the highest-ranked female actress. In 2012 she became Hollywood’s highest-paid actress according to the list made by Forbes magazine.In addition to her film career she has gained prestige in fashion. In 2012 she was named the best-dressed woman on the planet by Glamour magazine. He lent his image to promote Balenciaga’s Florabotanica perfume in 2012 and 2014.

She also became the face of the prestigious French brand Chanel during the campaign of the collection “Métiers d’Art Paris-Dallas 2013/14) and the spring/summer 2015 collection glasses, both led by Karl Lagerfield.And now she has become larrain’s chosen candidate to bring Lady Di to life. The Chilean director made clear what he thinks about Stewart in an interview for Deadline:
To do this right, you need something very important in the cinema, which is a misteri. Kristen can be many things, and it can be very mysterious and very fragile and ultimately very strong as well, which is what we need. The combination of those elements made me think of it,” he said.
