This morning the result of one of the employees of the Carrefour supermarket, which tested positive for coronavirus, was known, so the branch located in the town of Gualeguaychú had to close its doors as a preventive measure and disinfection continued. From supermarket management they said: “We became aware that one of the employees of the premises tested positive for close contact with a relative of a person who had previously tested positive. Upon confirmation we activated the internal protocol of the company, proceed to close the branch and we will be disinfecting it on Saturday afternoon”.
With regard to disinfection they announced that it is in charge of a Buenos Aires company with materials and products approved by the Ministry of Health. and that a total disinfection will be made, including warehouses, offices and the commercial premises. From the company they expect to be able to reopen the doors, first sunday at the first hour. Finally, in order to bring peace of mind to the community they said, “the idea is fundamentally to bring peace of mind to all our employees and our clientele, we act as dictated by the protocol, the person who was infected received the medical care of the health services of the city and also of the services with which the company works”.
