Mexico City.- The authorities of Mexico City and the different Mayors of the capital, will offer some events and online festivities for Father’s Day this June 21, as a measure to avoid meetings for the pandemic of Covid-19.The festival “Está Padre Stay at Casa”, organized by the Secretariat of Capital Culture, will be broadcast by different platforms and social networks for the whole public , in order to celebrate Dad without leaving the house.

The program will begin at 10:00 a.m. and contemplate finishing at 22:00 on Sunday, which will present activities such as karaoke, boxing, movies, broadcasts of baseball games, mariachis and concerts. On the other hand, the mayor Miguel Hidalgo prepared the festival “Qué Padre MH” in which from 10:00 hours activities will be scheduled such as fitness, yoga, trips through the history of cars, pairings, good seasoning, concerts and at 18:30 a.m. a show by the comedian Jorge Falcón.The capital authorities urged citizens to stay at home and avoid crowds , because the CDMX is still at the red traffic light of contagion by Covid-19, so the reopening of different activities planned for 22 June were postponed.
