This Sunday the number of deaths from COVID-19 in Mexico added 1,044 more deaths.
With this the country reached 21,825 deaths, in addition to 24,225 cases active.
Mexico City and the Valley of Mexico are the entities with the highest number of cases and where the epidemic is most active.
Cumulative confirmed cases are already 180,545 since the start of the pandemic.
According to Health, most of the 1,044 deaths added to the record occurred in May and the first weeks of June, but so far ceased to be suspicious and confirmed as caused by COVID-19.
In addition, there are 1,892 deaths suspected by #COVID—19.
