translated from Spanish: Edomex will continue at red light, despite reduction in hospitalizations

The State of Mexico will start the week of June 29 to July 5 at red-risk traffic lights, despite the reduction of hospitalizations by COVID-19 in the state.
As reported by Governor Alfredo del Mazo, who indicated that although the pandemic has stabilized, they still require several measures before moving on to the orange phase, which is high risk, but not maximum.

According to Del Mazo, although the 54 COVID-19 hospitals have treated 21,000 patients and discharged to more than 16,000, they will still have to wait to resume activities.
He also explained that in the Toluca Valley “contagions continue to increase”, while in the Valley of Mexico, in reference to the area conurbada with Mexico City, two weeks are slowing the rate of contagion.
“The week that comes in should be of preparation,” the governor said of implementing measures and protocols in business towards a reopening.
Del Mazo explained that when the orange traffic light is reached, all small businesses will be able to restart activities, without generating crowds, such as stationery, furniture stores, clothing stores, rework and all kinds of business; as well as shops that offer services, such as dry cleaners, local repair and maintenance workshops in general.
