Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán.- The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Michoacán, obtained a sentence of 45 years in prison against the person responsible for the abduction and murder of a woman, which occurred in 2014, in the municipality of Lázaro Cárdenas.
According to the criminal process, on January 8 of the year in appointment, through deception and in complicity of other people, Raúl G., moved the offended to a property of the tenure of Guacamayas; there, they began to ingest intoxicating beverages and at one point beat her with a metal wrench, type Stilson, and a concrete block, until she was killed.
They immediately buried the body in a pit they had previously dug and subsequently established communication with relatives of the victim and asked them to hand over a significant amount of cash in exchange for their supposed freedom; days later the victim’s body was located.
During the field investigation intelligence carried out by the Specialized Kidnapping Combat Unit (UECS), it was possible to establish the identity and participation of Raúl G., who was once arrested in compliance with an arrest warrant.
In court and after venting each of the evidence gathered during the investigation, the Judge decided to sentence Raúl G., to 45 years in prison, after his responsibility was proven.
