Morelia, Michoacán.- With the aim of providing the necessary tools for the creation of cooperative societies or solidarity companies while making visible existing ones, the Secretariat of Economic Development of Morelia (SEFECO), led by Dr. Gabriela Molina Aguilar, promotes from the Directorate of Social and Solidarity Economy the Course-Workshop “Creation of Cooperatives”, which will be developed during the months of July to November 2020.
The development of the Workshop-Course will be coordinated by the Directorate of Social and Solidarity Economics and the Center for Integral Cooperative Development (CEDICOOP). Facilitators will be a number of experts in this approach.
The programme is promoted in order to ensure that ventures that add value to municipal economic activity and help the mostlian society to achieve larger objectives in a consolidated way.
The Workshop Course “Creation of Cooperatives” consists of seven modules: What is the Social and Solidarity Economy, Legal Structure, Business Structure Model, Cooperative Constitution, The Fiscal and Financial Structure of Cooperatives, Governance. Case workshop. Before completing his participation he noted that on Monday 13 July he will start this program with an informative talk, which will be given at the facilities of SEFECO.
The workshop course will be held in 6-hour weekly sessions. In accordance with the New Normal, sessions will start virtually through the ZOOM platform and face-to-face when health conditions allow, as well as personalized follow-up with groups.
