Yesterday, the journalist Jorge Rial leaked a file detailing a future reopening in the City of Buenos Aires that analyzes Horacio Rodríguez Larreta.Divided into twelve phases, the schedule proposed by the head of Government of Buenos Aires does not contain exact dates and would serve to reopen in a differentiated way from the rest of AMBA. In this note we tell you, phase by phase, what each one is about.
Phase 1: physical activities with restricted hours will be resumed; reopen bookstores, local shops and neighborhood galleries in “non-conflict” areas; will enable recreational rides for boys, girls and teens any day and move-ins will be resumed.
Phase 2: Adults will be able to take recreational walks during the weekend; they will open museums and libraries, without public and non-permanence, respectively; arts galleries with turn; open all other shops in high-traffic areas; non-essential industries, emergency professional activities and dog walkers.
Phase 3: adult recreational walks can be held throughout the week; cultural spaces will admit more people simultaneously (10 to 20); psychologists will be able to resume the activity, as well as constructions that end in less than 30 days; non-teaching staff will be able to return to schools for preparations.
Phase 4: Temples will be enabled for “individual prayer”; free physical activity; increase in people in spaces (20 to 30); hairdressers and gastronomy in outdoor spaces and with disposable materials; they will take up classes in the last grades/years of each school level.
Phase 5: open the Botanical Garden and Ecological Reserve; take away shopping, car washes and driving academies will take up the activity; increase in people in public spaces (30 to 40); the opening of schools will enter “stage 2”, which will include the return of more grades.
Phase 6: Federated athletes will resume training; social gatherings in free or enclosed spaces with fewer than 30 people will be allowed; independent culture and cinema (50% occupancy) will return and seek to adopt a protocol for public activities with 50% of the capacity or 200 people; construction of works of more than 5,000 square meters and classes will be normalized.
Phase 7: the activity will return the amateur individual sport; reopen the Ecopark and various playgrounds; a protocol for public activities will be sought with 60% of the capacity or 400 people at the top; resident domestic services.
Phase 8: commercial theatre (70% occupancy) and outdoor gyms will return; a protocol for public activities will be sought with 70% of the capacity or 600 people at the top; enabled therapies for children with autism.
Phase 9: religious events will return with capacity; a protocol for public activities will be sought with 80% of the capacity or 800 people at the top; non-essential procedures; shopping malls will resume their activity completely.
Phase 10: federated sports without public will return to the activity; a protocol for public activities will be sought with 90% of the capacity or 1000 people at the top; enable all professional activities, indoor gastronomic business (50%) and all construction and medical care (non-emergency); festivals for children outdoors and liberalisation of access to public transport albeit with capacity controls.
Phase 11: amateur group sport; geriatricians will be able to receive family members; a protocol for public activities will be sought with 100% of the capacity or 1200 people at the top; gyms and household services will return to their activity altogether.
Phase 12: events will have mass audiences; bowling alleys and night clubs will resume their activity; will open the retirement centres; hotels and Airbnb and gastronomy will also operate fully; festivals for children.
Already in the last item of Phase 12, the phrase “Back to normal” is read. As rumored, this may become false. However, journalist Fabián Doman confirmed that the document released by Jorge Rial is true and, he said, was the one proposed at a meeting of officials held on Friday 10th.
