Cristian Ruiz
Morelia, Michoacán.- The mayor of Morelia, Raúl Morón Orozco, said the federation already gave the last go-ahead to be on a plot of land located in the municipality of Alvaro Obregón where the maneuvering yard of the train owned by the Kansas City Southern company will be relocated.
In an interview with media, the building said that all efforts of this work were done through the former state governor and current federal coordinator of advisers Lázaro Cárdenas Batel, who gave him the news that the project will be a reality.
He stated that there will be no problem in making the work, since the terrain where the maneuvering yard will be is federal property and although it will be a project that will take a couple of years to be ready, “it is a fact that the train leaves Morelia”.
Knowing that the new manoeuvre yard will take a while to be ready, Morón Orozco said he also met the Secretariat of Communications and Transport (SCT) to begin the construction of the vehicular bridge of the Servant Avenue of the Nation as soon as possible.
Questioned on other issues he addressed with the federation, Raúl Morón said that he will release them later, but that it has to do with the regularization of some colonies and premises of Morelia, in addition to road infrastructure.
