Juntos por el Cambio MP Fernando Iglesias shared a controversy in Twitter post where a machine gun was seen with the message: “It’s time to keep the saucepans,” minutes later justified by explaining that it was a mistake because “he was confused as a button.”
The post was quickly repudiated by users, who called it a “coupist”, denounced it on the network for “incitement to violence” and even asked for his resignation in the Seatt Bank.

The colleagues in his political bloc forced him to delete the post and disengage, so within a few minutes he repeatedly tweeted again: “THIS ACCOUNT DOES NOT ACCEPT INCITEMENT TO VIOLENCE- IT IS BLOCKED. There are many in my TL. You can see that instead of pressing the RT-with comment button I pressed RT. I repudiate that message. Sorry for the mistake,” the deputy said. Users didn’t believe him and even made memes with what happened, justifiing the same way on different occasions.
