translated from Spanish: What will the return of outdoor physical activity look like in CABA?

In the latest update of the quarantine headed by Alberto Fernández, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta and Axel Kicillof, the return of outdoor physical activity was confirmed. For this return, the Undersecretariat of Sports, with the support of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, developed a special protocol for awareness and appropriate implementation. Get to know all the details in this note.

The allowed schedule for physical activity will be from 18 to 10 hours.
DNIs completed in 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8 will be able to do physical activity outdoors on even days of the calendar, while those completed in 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 can be done on odd days of the calendar.
Physical activity may not be done between more than two people.
For those who run, they can only take off their head caps when they are doing the activity. For those who walk or ride a bike, it is mandatory to use it.
The distance between people has to be at least two meters. In case there is a lot of people doing activity, it is recommended to look for another area.
It will always have to be in the vicinity of the home, in its own neighborhood.
The use of aerobic posts is not allowed.

Now, in order for all this to be fulfilled as much as possible, the City Government had more than a hundred people to ensure the organization of the return of outdoor physical activity. These people will be working in the parks from 19 to 22 hours. In addition, the Government of the City will have the closure of streets and avenues near parks and squares so that the social estrangement is respected. All these traffic breaks will take effect every day from 18 to 22 hours.

In total, these cuts total 14 linear km and will expand the pedestrian space in the vicinity of parks such as Chacabuco, Avellaneda, Lezama, Saavedra and Plaza Arenales, among others. In addition, in Parque Tres de Febrero, traffic will be closed to generate differential lanes for cyclists and runners. In turn, in Parque Chacabuco, exclusive lanes will be established for runners. Obviously, it will be for recreational, non-competitive purposes. Find out about the courts of each park and square by clicking here.
