The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported on Thursday 6,127 new cases of coronavirus throughout the country, bringing the total number of contagions to 148,027. In the province of Buenos Aires there were 4,300 new cases, while in the City of Buenos Aires there were 1,267. Both districts continue to be the main focus of the pandemic and the occupation of intensive care beds in the AMBA is at 64%.
In the interior of the country, Chaco had 51 cases, Chubut 1, Córdoba 102, Corrientes 4, Entre Ríos 31, Formosa 1, Jujuy 158, La Rioja 9, Mendoza 52, Misiones 2, Neuquén 25, Río Negro 54, Salta 1, San Juan 2, San Luis 1, Santa Cruz 24, Santa Fe 34, Santiago del Estero 4 and Tierra del Fuego 4. In this way, La Pampa and Tucumán are the only two provinces in the country that did not register cases on Thursday. The evening report reported 85 new deaths, which added up to 29 this morning total 114 in the last 24 hours. The number of fatalities is 2,702.
Of the 85 victims of today 43 are men: 30 residents in the province of Buenos Aires, 9 in the City of Buenos Aires, 3 residents in chaco province and 1 in Mendoza. And 42 are women: 29 residents in the province of Buenos Aires and 13 residents in the City of Buenos Aires.
