translated from Spanish: Deputy Senator Vanessa Rubio joins Morena bench

After the priist politician Vanessa Rubio asked for leave “to dedicate herself to academia and consulting”, who was her understudy and will now take her place in the Senate, Nancy Guadalupe Sánchez, announced that she will join the parliamentary group of Morena.
“After a deep reflection and apitating with great responsibility the elements of judgment and analysis, I have come to the conclusion of continuing without partly militancy, but joining the Parliamentary Group of Morena legislatively,” Sanchez said.
She was also a priist and thus became Rubio’s understudy in the Senate, however she left that party to support Jaime Bonilla and Morena’s campaign in Baja California, in 2019.
“After a meeting with Senator Monreal Avila, in which she applied for membership of the Group, Nancy Sanchez said it is time to leave behind the complications of being a systematic and irrational opposition, and eliminating the corruption that so denigrates the civil service,” Morena told her bench.
“The legislator said she will support the best causes of the president of the Republic and the leader of the Morena bench in the Senate,” Ricardo Monreal.
With this the PRI bench will stay with 13 senators and the one in Morena will go up to 61.
