The presidential plane has two offers to buy, including one of those interested already gave an advance of $1 million, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador reported this Monday.
López Obrador said that a contract was signed with the buyer who gave the money advance but in this there is a clause that says that if another buyer appears with a better offer will be taken.
“Whoever pays better always by taking the appraisal account and do it sooner. The first interested party wants to pay half in cash and half in medical equipment, in the case of the second practically everything is effective. I hope because they must be watching us, I hope that in a few days the sale of the plane will be resolved in a few days,” he said from what was the Presidential Hangar.

The aircraft was acquired by the Mexican government in mid-2012 – with then-President Felipe Calderón – through a lease between the Ministry of Defense and Banobras within 15 years amounting to 6,094 million 689,887 pesos.
The holder of the Sedena, Luis Cresencio Sandoval noted that between 2012 and 2020 8 annuities have been paid in the amount of just over 2,255 million and it remains to be paid for the next six years 3,838 million to cover the total.
However, the government wants to pay the capital debt of 4,155 million pesos first and thus avoid the payment of 1.938 million interest.
The presidential plane called ‘José María Morelos y Pavón’ will remain in the Hangar in charge of The Sedena until its sale.

The holder of the Sedena detailed the expenses made by the then President Enrique Peña Nieto in the last three years of his government in national and international travel.
The last administration received and operated the aircraft from February 3, 2016 to November 2018, representing a 34-month period.
He noted that from 2016 to 2018 122 national tours spent 31,473 million pesos. While on 36 international tours the amount erugated was 102,897 million. In total, for three years of use, the Mexican government spent 408,489 million pesos.
Prepare for raffle
On the sale of raffle tickets, the representative said 25% of the 6 million puppies have been sold.
This represents 765.4 million pesos raised from the sale, as of July 24, of 1 million 530,800 puppies.

The director of the National Lottery, Ernesto Prieto, explained that the main objective of the draw is “a cooperation for medical teams and hospitals where poor people are served for free”, legend that has the reverse of each puppy.
He recalled that 100 prizes of 20 million pesos each would be distributed.
He reiterated that the draw will be held at the National Lottery facilities on September 15 at 4 pm.
