The senator caused a fight when she approached her partner, Cecilia Marquez Alvarado, who was demonstrating in the Senate, and snatched a tardy with which she was protesting.

For his part Antares Vázquez Alatorre he stated on his social media that he did not assault Cecilia but did accept what he did.
