Federal health authorities reported on Wednesday about 485 more coronavirus deaths, so far Mexico has 45,361 deaths since the epidemic began.
José Luis Alomía Zegarra, Director General of Epidemiology, detailed at a press conference that 408 thousand 449 cases have been confirmed and that there are 89 thousand 978 suspects, awaiting the results of the laboratory tests.

In the previous day, on 28 July, the figures of 44 thousand 876 deaths and 402 thousand 697 confirmed cases were given. Overnight, there was an increase in cumulative registration of 5 thousand 752 confirmed cases.
Health authorities also indicated that it is estimated that there are 48,550 active cases in the country of people who have had symptoms in the last 14 days.
In terms of medical care, Nuevo León has the highest levels of occupancy of general hospitalization beds, with 78%. In the case of fan beds, for critical patients, Nuevo León and Tabasco have the highest levels, with 68%.
