Morelia, Michoacán.- In order to protect the health of all workers and prevent contagion by COVID-19, the City Council of Morelia, headed by the municipal president, Raúl Morón Orozco, strengthened the prevention measures within the administration, with the purchase of various hygiene implements both personal and protective.
As a first step, Mayor Raúl Morón instructed the Secretary of Administration, Gabriel Prado Fernández, so that the staff attached to the City Council with more than 65 years, pregnant women, mothers with children under the age of 12, as well as workers with chronic degenerative diseases, will carry out work from home to avoid agglomerations in offices, in addition to applying measures such as healthy distance and mandatory use of cover.
In addition, as prevention tools personal protective clothing and cleaning material were acquired: head covers, N-95 masks with valve, disposable oversoles and gloves, sanitizing alcohol, soap powder, chlorine, atomizers, iodine, sanitizing, face masks, masks, gowns, surgical boots, sealed gogles, digital thermometers, sanitizing mats, earplugs, acrylic protection barriers, as well as continuously fumigating and sanitizing all municipal and decentralized dependencies.
