The authorities of Mexico City detained Lized Yuridia Júarez, alias ‘Big Mama’, who allegedly served as coordinator of the criminal group La Unión Tepito.
According to the Secretariat of Citizen Security of the CDMX, in addition to coordinating the sale and distribution of drugs in the CDMX, Lized was a trusted person and member of the security corps of The Coach Andrés Flores, the ‘Lunares’, leader of the Tepito Union who was arrested months ago.
Among his tasks, ‘Big Mama’ guarded the address located in Peralvillo #33 Street, Morelos colony, mayor Cuauhtémoc, used by the Lunares.

Lized also arranged shipments of drug Tlaxcala with the help of her children, who prepared the packages and participated in deliveries and transfers.

According to the investigations, another of Lized’s tasks was to serve as a liaison between the members of the Tepito Union and the capital authorities, to coordinate the delivery of bribes in exchange for protection and information on operatives.
In a statement, the SSC stated that after the arrest of the ‘Lunares’, ‘Big Mama’ hid in states such as Michoacán and Guanajuato.
However, on July 30th he returned to the CDMX and hid in a house located in the colony Santa María la Ribera.
The capital authorities managed to detain him at that address.
At the time of her apprehension, Lized had several doses of cocaine in her possession.
‘Big Mama’ has a long criminal record. In 2005 she was held at the Centro Femenil de Santa Martha Acatitla. He was released in 2006, and in 2013 returned to the penalty, but after bail was released only four days later.
