The spokesman of the highest court, Gloria Ana Chevesich, defended the power of deputies to constitutionally accuse Judge Silvana Donoso, but assured that the budget is not set for a remarkable abandonment of duties.
The minister and spokes speaker of the Supreme Court, Gloria Ana Chevesich, referred this day to the constitutional indictment filed by a cross-sectional group of deputies, against the judge of the Court of Appeals of Valparaiso, Silvana Donoso, for the parole that was given to Hugo Bustamante, the double homicidal woman of German Villa, accused of the crime of the young Amber Cornejo.Chevesich said that “the Supreme Court respects the constitutional exercise by the members of the Congress, but believes that the factual budget set by that standard is not confused in this case.” This is because the libel holds Judge Donoso responsible for a remarkable abandonment of duties when deciding on Bustamante’s freedom. The spokesperson for the high court said that this decision was taken in 2016 by a parole commission “that unanimously granted parole to a person who is principally responsible for the death of the teenage Amber.” The Minister (Donoso) voted for that decision that was taken in accordance with the regulations in force at that time.”
