translated from Spanish: 2,000 doses of Russian vaccine test will be applied in Mexico

Foreign Secretary Marcelo Ebrard reported on Thursday that an agreement was reached with Russia for phase 3 testing of its COVID vaccine in Mexico, with the application of at least 2,000 doses.
“It’s very good news because again we buy time… we are very grateful to Russia,” Ebrard referred to media, noting that the Russians will confirm the implementation date, although it is expected to be “very soon.”
The chancellor explained that agreements are already in place for phase 3 testing of two vaccines in China, one from the United States and one from France and England, to be done in Mexico. In September, at least one of them would begin.

In November, the results of these tests would be available, then Cofepris would make an evaluation of them and approve it would already begin to produce this vaccine in Mexico.
So far at least 58,481 people have died in Mexico from coronavirus.
