translated from Spanish: Morelia City Council to celebrate Expo Arte Urbano

Morelia, Michoacán.- In the framework of the International Youth Day, the Government of Morelia headed by the municipal president, Raúl Morón Orozco, through the Morelian Youth Institute (IJUM), will hold this Saturday, August 22 the Urban Art Expo as a celebration of the artistic expression of the Morelian youth.
The event will begin with the holding of the fence that adjoins the facilities of the IJUM, in avenue journalism, which was awarded by the company Kansas City Southern for its artistic intervention.
The event will be attended by young people belonging to various groups (HUMEC, Mamba seven and Mexica Zulu) dedicated to different artistic expressions such as dance, singing, music and graffiti.

Aware of the economic situation, a call was opened for young producers or entrepreneurs, who were offered a space in the “Ecological Bazaar” in which you can find everything from corundas and waters, to handicrafts and clothing; this with the purpose of contributing to the local economic revival.
In conjunction with Jefferson International University and the Social Entrepreneurship Network, the introductory discussion will be held to a new program on Social and Solidarity Economics, which will seek to accompany young people through training and talks. This presentation will be held at 13:00 hours on Saturday 22, in the auditorium of the facilities of the Institute of Morelian Youth, with limited space.
Responsible for the health of young people, the event will be held in open and closed areas, with safety protocols, the use of head coverings is mandatory and the necessary cleaning services will be provided. The Government of Morelia invites young people next Saturday from 10:00 hours, on Avenida Periodismo, where the old railway station was and they can enjoy this Expo.
