translated from Spanish: PAN reports to the INE the delivery of money to Morena

The National Action Party (PAN) filed a complaint with the National Electoral Institute (INE) for the delivery of money for the Morena party, which was shown in a video, and said it will do the same in the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for the Care of Electoral Crimes (FEPADE) and the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR).
The formal complaint is against Morena, by David León Romero and Pío López Obrador, brother of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the PAN said in a statement.
According to Marko Cortés, party leader, public resources were misused to finance election campaigns, political party financing regulations, transparency and accountability for public resource control were violated.

“We cannot pass up an act of corruption and electoral crime as serious as this and that is why we will ask the relevant authorities to review the funding reported by Morena and for an investigation into the origin of the resources that financed Morena, because there is apparently something very murky there,” said National Action Leader Marko Cortés.
A video posted on the Latinus portal this week shows the representative’s brother receiving money supposedly to strengthen Morena from the hands of David León, who was recently appointed as director of a drug distribution company.
At the time, Latinus referred, David León was a consultant and operator of the government of Chiapas, headed by Manuel Velasco. By the same means, it was Leon himself who recorded the videos.

Cortés said in the statement that following the complaint in the INE, panlist lawmakers will file complaints with FEPADE for the alleged illegal use of public resources to support Morena and the FGR for “peculado, illicit financing and money laundering, so that the authorities investigate and punish those involved.”
“We ask you to congruence with your deeds, today in Mexico it is a felony that you deny with total cynicism,” the Panista leader said.
