Maxim Zorreguieta and Guillermo Alejandro are the kings of Holland, loved by the people for their solidarity conduct and their life in which they show values and empathy. But in the last few hours a photo that was leaked of the holiday highnesses, where they were seen very relaxed but without respecting the rules of social estrangement in force, to avoid the contagion of coronavirus. The scandal over the lack of care of the royal couple was such that the Crown had to come out and apologize in a statement in which the king and queen of Holland regretted that they had violated the rule, following the viralization of their photos on the Internet. In the images, the couple is taken by the arm with a man, who would own a restaurant on the tourist island of Mykonos, Greece.
With a tweet the crown acknowledged that the kings found the property in disrespect and immediately asked for the apologies the Dutch people required. “A picture has appeared in the media in which we keep insufficient distance. Because of the spontaneity of the moment, we did not pay the necessary attention to it,” the king and queen explained in a tweet.
