Due to the increase in cases of coronaivrus (COVID-19) recorded in recent days, Mar del Plata receded to Phase 3 of social isolation, preventive and mandatory, which involves the suspension of outdoor physical activity, the recreational coastal walk and, among other issues, that the gastronomic premises return to run under the take away mode. Despite the complex health situation, this weekend, agents of the Municipality of General Pueyrredón and police personnel had to intervene in different encounters and clandestine parties, such as 15 birthdays, roasts and meetings with up to 30 people. According to the commune, an operation with controls was deployed in different parts of the city to ensure compliance with the health measures, and “a large number of complaints about clandestine meetings” were received.
