Culiacán, Sinaloa.- At approximately 1 a.m. on Thursday, 911 was reported to be on the Culiacán road to Imala, at the height of the Education City region, two people were shot. Immediately Municipal Police officers moved to the site and once they arrived they found a panel-like van with logos from Culiacán City Council.

On the side of the van were two gunshot wounded men, so police officers requested the presence of Red Cross paramedics who minutes later arrived at the site and moved these two young men to a hospital.
The city council-owned van featured multiple bullet impacts as well as two punched tires. Minutes later they arrived at the van’s location, several basuron employees said the van had been stolen and stripped of their belongings. They also identified these two injured people as those responsible for kidnapping, beating, assaulting and threatening to kill at least 20 basuron employees. One of the basuron employees and victim commented that at approximately 11 a.m. these two people imagined and abducted employees who were about to retire to their homes, stripping them of their wallets and cell phones, also in the same van stole computer and welding equipment they were driving on site.
Investigative police are collecting information from affected persons. The two people shot who were originally thought to be the victims are currently receiving medical care in police custody as everything indicates that they are likely to be responsible. So far it is unknown who or who shot these two people and when these events happened.
