Morelia, Michoacán. – With the aim of providing tools for entrepreneurship and self-employment to the women’s sector, the Municipal Institute of Women for Substantive Equality (IMUJERIS) initiated a series of workshops on various productive skills.
The economic development of the Morelians, is one of the strategic areas in which the dependency works, so, permanently courses are provided in different activities, in recent weeks workshops of basic and advanced herbalism, vegan and vegetarian cuisine, natural cosmetics, pastry, artistic gelatin, among others were started.
This is in order for women to access ongoing training so that they can start their own business and generate an economic income for their livelihoods and their families.
The director of IMUJERIS, Concepción Torres Zaragoza, noted that in the government chaired by the mayor, Raúl Morón Orozco, work has been done to create conditions for women to have greater opportunities for economic development, and a very important aspect is training for work.
She added that the goal was for women’s endeavors to succeed, so workshops were sought to be accompanied by business plan talks and topics that would pay for better management.
