According to information delivered on Saturday, September 19, 1,848 new cases of COVID-19 were reported, of which 1,230 correspond to symptomatic people and 576 have no symptoms. In addition, 42 PCR Positive tests were recorded and were not reported.
The total number of people diagnosed with COVID-19 in the country reaches 444,674. Of that total, 14,319 patients are in the active stage of the virus. The recovered cases are 418,101.
As for the deaths, according to information provided by the Department of Statistics and Health Information (DEIS), in the last 24 hours there were 55 deaths from coVID-19-associated causes. The total number of deaths is 12,254 in the country.
To date, 894 people are hospitalized in Intensive Care Units, of which 667 are with mechanical ventilation support and 120 are in critical health. In relation to the Integrated Health Network, there are a total of 461 fans available to the patient who requires it, regardless of the region where they are located.
Regarding the Laboratory Network and diagnostic capacity, yesterday the results of 34,822 PCR tests were reported, reaching a total of 3,010,713 tests analyzed nationally.
