The Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, overcate the controversy with Public Space, after the study center questioned in its latest report the daily positivity figures, noting that these could be “artificially low”.
The study noted that there could be “incentives to test people who are less likely to be infected.” It was precisely this phrase that caused the annoyance of Minister Paris, who said on the balance sheet by covid-19 that “this accusation which is kept under a cloak of a study centre and an academic center seems very serious to me. There is no way that there will be stimuli – I do not know what kind, I hope they cleared it up – that will artificially lower the percentage of PCR results.”
“There are sticks here because bogas and sticks because you don’t bogas, if you lower the PCR claim, if you raise the PCR claim,” Paris added.
After the day of rage, the minister overcavised the controversy with the center of study and in an interview with Radio DNA, he said he was willing to talk.
“They say that what they want is to contribute to improving the case-finding system and that they are willing to talk and in that sense obviously that I too am willing to talk and talk,” he said.
“If they want to propose an index that allows to monitor the effect of asymptomatic patients or who are randomly tested, against those who do consult because they are sick and that obviously the PCR is higher, it is a thing of studying it. I don’t have a problem,” he added.
In that line, the secretary of state said he is “willing to accept a correction factor probably based on that possibility.”
