Authorities in Baja California confirmed the murder in Tecate of Daniel Sotelo, brother-in-law of the murdered activist Oscar Eyraud Adams.
The second crime occurred a day after the murder of Oscar Eyraud at the hands of an armed group.
Sotelo’s 32-year-old crime was recorded inside a family-owned grocery store.

According to the State Research Agency the events were recorded around 13 hours on Friday, in the colony Nueva Hindu Section Cerro Azul de Tecate.
Police officers who attended the site found Daniel alive, who was transferred by the Red Cross to the IMSS hospital in red priority, but later died.
Daniel Sotelo was a brother-in-law of Oscar Eyraud, a 34-year-old activist, originally from the Kumiai indigenous community of Boards of Nejí, who months before his assassination devoted himself to denouncing the hoarding of water wells by large users in the municipality of Tecate, Baja California.
