Health authorities recorded 173 more COVID-19 coronavirus deaths in Mexico, for a total of 76,603 deaths from the disease.
They also confirmed 3,400 more cases of the virus, as a total of 733,717 people have tested positive for the laboratory since the epidemic began.

However, from the estimate of 870 thousand 699 cases, 36 thousand 577 (4%) are active cases from developing symptoms in the last 14 days.
At a daily press conference, authorities also released new indicators.
One of them is the estimate that there are 185 thousand 320 people suspected of carrying COVID-19 in Mexico, but of whom there is no laboratory sample.
Of the suspected cases that do have a laboratory sample, 93 thousand 953 will not be able to obtain a result, because the test did not arrive in a laboratory for processing or that it was rejected because it did not meet the established characteristics.
Meanwhile, only 30,769 cases will be able to get a result
According to official estimates, the downward trend is maintained with a 9% reduction in cases between week 37 and 38, as well as 48% in deaths.
