White House Democratic nominee Joe Biden today issued his latest tax return, where he claims he paid $299,346 in federal taxes with his wife Jill last year.

“The American people deserve transparency from their leaders, and that’s why today I published my tax returns over the past 22 years,” Biden said in Twitter.La the Times publication, the last defense showed that the Republican president paid $750 in 2016 and 2017 and had been without it for at least a decade since 2000.

The newspaper said Trump managed to reduce the tax figure to be paid “with questionable measures,” including a refund of nearly $73 million being investigated by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Joe Biden maintains an advantage over Trump that is reflected in all polls albeit in a very oscillating way and it will be some states that tip the scales in favor of one or the other candidate on November 3.
