Three transgender women disappeared the same day in Jalisco, in two different events, so state authorities are trying to find their location.
This is Karla García Duarte, 22; Kenya Duarte Pérez, 20; and Dafne Anahí Vázquez Benítez, 26, who were last seen on September 18.

Karla and Kenya are friends and the last time they were seen they went to a party in the Mirador Escondido colony, zapopan municipality, according to family members.
Ana Lucía Duarte Arellano, mother of Kenya, assured her that her daughter told her that she would go to a party, but after a week of not knowing about her she decided to file the complaint with the Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office,
“She told me she was going to a party with Karla, but she didn’t tell me where or with whom, the last time she was seen was at 11:15 in the same colony, hence nothing was heard from the two of them,” the mother said in an interview with Zona Docs.
Although he argues that the two were together before the disappearance, the Alba Protocol of Jalisco published that Karla was in the Vista Hermosa colony, in the same municipality of Zapopan.

Until the afternoon of this October 7, the holder of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office on Missing Persons of Jalisco, Blanca Jacqueline Trujillo Cueva, confirmed that the disappearance of women is investigated, without offering further information.
“We have taken all the immediate actions to localize them and to investigat the circumstances in which they disappeared,” she said without referring to the young women.
He also said that the two people who disappeared at the same event, in reference to Kenya and Karlo do not know Dafne and have no relationship with each other.
