Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- After covid-19 cases were significantly reduced in the Municipality of Ahome in the week from 1 to 7 October, a new case was not recorded, this Thursday 8, the Ministry of Health platform again registers 8 contagions. According to figures provided by health authorities in Sinaloa, Ahome currently has 78 active cases of Coronavirus in addition to some suspects.

The Covid-19 case registration platform in Sinaloa recorded 72 new contagions on 8 October, of which 33.9 of patients are hospitalized.
It also reported that 37 deaths were reported today from the disease, of which 3 are from Ahome, resulting in a cumulative of 3,311 deaths within 224 days of the first contagion of Coronavirus in Sinaloa.
